Dear Joe,
As you know, Dave installed the coil yesterday and the new oil line today. He did a thorough, efficient, yet unhurried and meticulous job. I can attest to this and also to his good nature, because he didn't mind me hanging around and seemed pleased to anwer my questions, explaining everything he was doing and how it worked. It was a pleasure to watch him work and an education for me at the same time. As we chatted, I also learned some nice things about your company.
As you might imagine, I had some misgivings about going with a new company after 42 years, but your timely attention and Dave's service have assured me that I made the right decison. The personal touch makes all the difference! Thank you!

Dear Joe:
Anne and I would like to thank you for your quick response to our hot water troubles and let you know how glad we are to have Holliston Oil as our oil company.
It makes us feel good to be working with a local company, especially when that company performs as well as Holliston Oil.
We were very impressed with your determination to identify and solve the problem.
You took the time to speak with us and educate us on the minerals in the local water and how they effect the operation of the water heater.
It was easy to see that you really cared about your customers needs and would not rest until the problem was resolved.
You came out on a Friday afternoon, worked on the system and called to follow up on the result Monday morning.
We look forward to a long relationship with Holliston Oil.
Thank you.

Dear Scott and Joe,
Thank you for your outstanding support of our sons' Walk Team. Thanks to you, Rich and Nate raised nearly $6,000 for Easter Seals this year -- a record for them.
Sheila and I can't tell you enough how much your generosity means to us. We are always a little hesitant about sending letters out asking for donations. But after a few days, we begin to find in our mailbox: two, three -- sometimes five -- envelopes from friends and family.
It is a wonderful feeling of connection and support. We truly thank you.
This is one way we keep our son, Matthew, a part of our lives and in our hearts. In Hebrew, Matthew means gift from God. And, our Matthew was that to us. The Walk Team lets us give back some of what Matthew -- and God -- have given us. It lets us help others dealing with disability.
After Matt died, Easter Seals planted a dogwood tree in our yard in his memory. It blooms mid-June every year, the time of year he died. It is blooming this week.
With much appreciation for your support and kind thoughts.
-Kirk J.

Holliston Oil Service, Inc. -- "Serving the Community for Over 60
Years" -- that's how they bill themselves. They have been servicing us
for the twenty-three years we have lived in Holliston, and I couldn't
have it any other way.
Since we bought our home it was obvious that we needed to have an oil
supplier, and it was not a decision that could be postponed. Holliston
Oil Service had been the supplier of the previous owners. We contacted
the company about continuing for us. I am a firm believer in shopping
locally in my hometown to ensure a viable small business base, and so
we decided to give them a try.
With some vendors I have dealt with over the years, I have been leery
of their recommendations for preventive maintenance or optional
services, because I couldn't be sure that they weren't trying to wring
the last nickel out of us. I have no concerns with taking the
Damigella's recommendations. We get an annual maintenance visit, an
annual oil tank corrosion-prevention treatment, and bought a new burner
unit, all on their recommendations.
I have received multitudinous solicitations over the years to go with
other dealers, but you couldn't drag me kicking and screaming away from
Holliston Oil...I have recommended Holliston Oil to many and will
continue to do so.

Dear Scott,
We are writing to thank you for Holliston Oil
Service's sponsorship of this year's "Celebrate Holliston" events.
With the help og generous patrols like you, we were able to host
a Golf Tournament that was both entertaining and a source of unprecented
fundraising, and a field day that was extremely well attended. We
are confident that your sponsorship was both noticed and appreciated
by the residents of Holiston, and hope that your business experiences
a heightened level of patronage in appreciation for your support
of this important community event.
Sincerely,
Theresa Lamkin

Dear Scott and Joe,
Sheila and I thank you for your gift in support of our sons' Walk Team for Easter Seals. Rich and Nate, along with our daughter Kim, Rich's wife Tracy, grandchildren Andrew and Kelley, and other family and friends made up the team.
Former Patriot's quarterback, and long-time friend Steve Grogan chaired this event to support independence, equality, and dignity for people with disabilities and their families.
Many who walked or wheeled have been helped by Easter Seals or have had a family member helped. As you know, Easter Seals helped Rich and Nate's brother Matthew.
Matthew would be proud of his brothers -- for their efforts on behalf of Easter Seals and for how they life their lives. Sheila and I certainly are.
Thank you for your support.
Best personal regards,
-Kirk J.

Dear Danielle,
Thank you for your kinds and thoughtful letter! I have been happy with the personal service from Holliston Oil all these years -- and this
is just another example! I wish I could have you deliver oil to my new address, but I am only renting and the owners have a contract with another company. Please give my best regards to Scott, his father,
and grandfather.
Sincerely,
-Mary Rose E.

Dear Company Representative,
We write to Thank You and your company for sponsoring our inquiry-based project on battery- and solar-powered cars. We were involved in activities creating good aerodynamic designs, recording design changes along with rationale for alterations, calculating speed, velocity, acceleration, and momentum, measuring the mass of cars, graphing and analyzing the data. This helped us to demonstrate knowledge of motion, inertia, and Newton's laws. Recently we tested the cars and got them ready for competition.
Your generous donation was most appreciated as it was used to offset the cost for materials to build the cars and to provide awards. We also appreciated the many kind words of encouragement and support you communicated in your reply correspondence.
We enjoyed a great afternoon of competition and the Robert H. Adams Middle School parking lot. The cars were constructed and sported logos representing the local businesses that donated to our cause. A Sponsor-board displayed the names of all the businesses like yours who provided support. In closing, we would like to extend a thank you for all you have done to make this learning unit a success for us and to many of you who attended this event.
Sincerely,
-Mike B.

Dear Holliston Oil Service,
On behalf of the Holliston Community Children's Center and the Holliston Fire Department, we would like to thank you for your support of the 3rd Annual "Have a Safe Halloween Celebration". Thanks to you, the night was a huge success.
- An estimated crowd of about 600 people
- A fire truck and ambulance to explore
- Hot chocolate and hot apple cider
- Pony rides
- Cotton candy
- Freshly popped hot popcorn
- Hay rides
- Balloons
- Goodie bags for participants in the costume parade
- Balloon animals
- Music provided by a DJ
We could not have had such a successful event without the help of our sponsors and volunteers. Those who put together goodie bags, handed out balloons, worked the food tables, or provided financial support. We owe the success of this event to all of you. We want to say "Thank You, thank You, Thank You!"
We look forward to working with you again next year at the 4th Annual "Have a Safe Halloween Celebration". Thank you again for your support and hard work.
Sincerely,
Sarah Towle
